This book was amazing! It starts off slow and sweet, and ends with a big old bang! It has the excitement and energy I crave as well as the insta-love sweetness I adore! I just could not ask for more from this book! The author definitely hit this one out of the park! Emory is a divorcee who has recently sent her only son off to college. Suffering from empty nest syndrome, she is trying to discover who she is, and what she wants. A chance meeting, a handsome stranger, and she is on an exciting new path. Gray has reinvented himself several times over the years. And he is happy with who he is. Until a beautiful stranger makes him realize that something really is missing from his life, and he needs to make her his! This story was so exciting, so daring, so absolutely beautiful! I loved the achingly perfect connection between Emory and Gray! Once I opened their story, I just kept turning pages, unable to stop reading. I just had to find out what happened next! And their story was full of surprises, twists and turns, I just never knew what was going to be on the next page! Definitely one of my favorite by this author!

What a great story. It was good to see an older woman, with an adult son, find the love of her life. The interaction between Gray and Emory was beautifully written and full of unexpected emotion. Emory has been targeted by a druggie but with protection from Gray and an unexpected source, the danger is quickly eliminated. I loved the story because it has two strong, independent people who meet by chance and click from the very beginning. I would highly recommend it as a great read. Loving this new series! I enjoyed that it was about an older than usual couple (late thirties/early forties). The title of the book is definitely appropriate: a “Strong and Steady” seduction. Typical of Vanessa Vale, the male character was quick to realize his true feelings and the female character needed some convincing. I loved that it was about a couple (as opposed to a ménage)… Love the change. The storyline was very engaging; I had a real problem with putting it down until I was finished! As usual, the “love scenes” were scorching hot!! I truly enjoyed it! I’m looking forward to reading more books in this series. Well done!
