Heartwarming, fun, and steamy
I really enjoyed Theo and Mallory’s age gap, grumpy-sunshine, opposites attract, fish out of water, almost-virgin romance. Theo was a trauma surgeon in the big city but decided he did not like the numbness in his life. So he bought into a family practice and moved to small town Hunter Valley where his brother has settled. Mallory is a 1st grade teacher who is tired of her lack of sex life and decides to rectify that. Theo is not a part of Mallory sex plan but after an unexpected encounter he decides he definitely will be. Mallory announced she was going to marry Theo when she saw his photo the first time months ago but since they’d never met it was more of a spontaneous announcement than a plan. Theo and Mallory’s journey from scheduled bed mates to HEA requires growth and baggage unpacking for both of them. It’s a heartwarming journey with big feels. The story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters, and an engaging storyline. It was full of sweet moments, steamy scenes, chuckles, drama, supportive friends, messy/dysfunctional families, painful pasts, feels, and all the love. I cannot wait to read the messy love story of the next James brother.
