I love a good small town romance story and I really enjoyed this one. Jane and her kids had me laughing a lot throughout the book. When reading this one I couldn't believe everything happened to Jane. This one is light and fun, but it also has some intense suspenseful moments that had me on the edge of my seat. The only thing that I wish was that we got Ty'a point of view. It would helped me with his character if I could have gotten into his head a bit. Over all it's a good book that will have you laughing one moment and gasping the next. I'm looking forward to more from this series.

I will be honest and admit I am a huge fan of Vanessa Vale's writing. Have I read EVERYTHING? No, I have 2-3 books left to read. I find her books to be well written, exciting, and the characters always have unique personalities and backstories. Thus, this is another series that I am so looking forward to. If you are looking for a new book, series or author to fall in love with this is a safe bet in the world of ebooks. And if you like menage' her Steele Ranch and Bridgewater County series are AMAZING! I would love for Vanessa to continue with those series.... I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I can't say enough good things about this one! Ty and Jane are a steamy, hilarious couple and I can't wait for the next book. Jane is a widow with two adorable little boy's. She works for her mother-in-law in the small town's only adult toy store, yup, but wait, gets better. She sees the most handsome man shes ever seen. Where you may ask? Standing in line behind a customer at her place of employment as she explains to the woman the functions and features of several of . . .the products! He's the new fire-fighter in town and he's there to do an inspection. And then, she finds out that her sons have met and adore the new neighbor who, you guessed it, turns out to be Mr. Sexy himself. Ty's not looking for a relationship or love but I've always been told that when your not looking is when it knocks you over. The shop talk, the "close but no cigar" moments, the bachelorette party . . . "cigar moments". The suspense, the murder, the psycho!!! I DEVOURED it and I wholeheartedly recommend it
