Another visit to Bridgewater, another amazing menage romance! This book brings us the instant connection, the searing heat, and a true love story that we expect from this author. There is also an element of danger, that kept me on the edge of my seat! Grace has had a traumatic upbringing as the daughter of an outlaw, and doesn't see her life improving. She doesn't seem to believe that she deserves a happy future, because of who her family is. But she catches a glimpse of what could be, when she meets Hank and Charlie. This was a quick read, but still full of everything we love about Bridgewater. Each book can definitely stand on its own, but there are visits from characters from previous books. I definitely recommend this book, either as a starting point for a new reader, or a continuation for a follower of the Bridgewater series.

MY LITTLE WARRIOR In Bridgewater, Montana, the men follow the customs of the small wild country of Mohamir where men, usually in twos and threes, married a woman together. It wasn’t for their needs, but hers—having two husbands ensured the wife would always be protected and cherished. The Montana Territory was just as wild, and the same concerns for a wife existed. What a shock for Hank, Sheriff of Simms and his friend, Charlie Pine to be ambushed by Marcus and Travis Grove when they were in pursuit of them after the bank robbery. But things will change in the nick of time when a lone stranger on a bluff will shoot the two men, saving Hank and Charlie. What that stranger never anticipated was that they would be followed and captured. “She was gorgeous. Feisty, confident, prickly. She was the most unladylike female I’d ever met, but also the most stunning. The most appealing. Perhaps because she had no idea how utterly feminine she was beneath the bravado and men’s clothing. Her lack of guile, her innocence was so alluring. A pants-wearing, sassy miss who could shoot the wings off a fly and peel paint off a house with her swearing.” Hank and Charlies both know immediately that she is ‘the one’ and they would be claiming her. She doesn’t capitulate as easy as they would like, but they show her a taste of what they have to offer, the pleasure they have to give, and for the first time in her life, what it feels like to be wanted. Taking her to meet their neighbors and friends in Bridgewater, Grace will see how the women are treated and what having a loving family could be like. “Do you want us to get down on bended knee or do you want a shoot out, sweetheart? Pick the right one because it’s a story you’ll tell our grandkids.” The plot will include secrets, surprises, sassiness, and spankings when Hank and Charlie find Grace and take her back to Bridgewater. While a virgin, she has been around crass men like her brother and father and has heard them talk, but with these two, she is shown what it is like to be desired and loved. But what will happen when they learn her name and who is her kinfolk? Then when Barton Finch makes threats against them and the others in Bridgewater, she isn’t willing to risk their safety—she will do what she must, even if it means she will hang with the rest of them. What happens when Hank and Charlie catch up with her in Carver City? No good deed goes unpunished—so what will Grace be expected to pay for her lack of trust? “The truth was like a lightning strike. Sudden, severe, and searing.” “Ah, that ladylike talk. I was content for the first time in—ever. Father would have fallen in love with Grace. All sass and fire, loyalty, and devotion. Perhaps he’d sent her to us like I’d thought. I’d ended my quest for his killers and found a wife. The mother of our children. Our world.” These stories by Vanessa Vale will take the reader on a fascinating journey of dominance, submission, passion, and erotic sexual scenes. The cast of characters are fierce, loyal, and passionate in and out of the bedroom, the women are strong but willingly submit, and the men are dominant and very protective. Bridgewater men possess their wive’s in both body and soul. Nothing is considered inappropriate. These stories are extremely explicit in sexual detail in a loving and fulfilling relationship.

Have mercy. Vanessa Vale’s books make you tingle all over. I love the way the two alpha males claim their woman and protect her. Pleasure is their job. So romantic. And I love the way they “claim“ her. I love their dominate, possessive, demanding gentlemanly ways. Positively delightful and sexy as all get out.
